Bandage shop / health shop

A publicly approved bandage shop, also known as a health shop, supplies equipment on a blue prescription to those with a stoma, catheter, incontinence and/or prostheses. Here you will also find foodstuffs, wound equipment and compression treatment, diabetes equipment etc. that are approved by HELFO.

This is therefore a type of aid center and shop for equipment and aids that you cannot get via NAV Hjelpemidelsentral or the health organisations' treatment aid centre. It is also possible to obtain over-the-counter medicines, adapted underwear and swimwear, and other equipment that you usually have to pay for yourself.

You can order equipment over the phone or via email, or come to the store if you need it.

Remember to order well in advance so you don't run out of equipment in the meantime!

Delivery

You can either have the products delivered to your home, or collect them yourself in store. This is agreed upon when ordering.

Individual guidance

At a bandage specialist, you can talk to one of the people who work there, usually health personnel, about your situation, about reasons and possibilities. You can also get help and guidance to find the right products, adaptation and training in use. The staff at the bandage shops often have good product knowledge and experience with various needs and adaptations.
