Lucas døde den 16.12.2021, bare 5 år gammel. For å hedre hans minne har Lucas’ løvebestemor donert Lucas-rangler til Løvemammaene. Foreldrene ønsker at inntektene fra Lucas-ranglen skal gå til Løvemammaenes barnepalliasjonsprosjekt Carry Together.
