Løvemammaene' relief service has now ended.

Now is the time for Løvemammaene' Help Service pilot project to close its doors. Today, July 4th, was the last day of the project. We would like to clarify that the doors of Løvemammaene as an organization are definitely not closing – we are here to stay.

Before the project "Løvemammaene' Help Service", we as an organization helped thousands of parents of sick/disabled children in many different ways. We want to continue doing this. We have broad expertise in the organization, and are completely convinced that we will continue to have satisfied members who experience getting help and support from us in the future.

For all members

This is how it will be going forward:

  • We are still available by email 365 days a year. We are not closed on evenings, weekends or holidays! You can send an email to post@lovemammaene.no. All inquiries are answered quickly, and with a maximum response time of 1-2 days.
  • We will be organizing even more themed evenings about rights.
  • We will have a strong focus on "help for self-help" where we will equip you to be able to stand in the lion's life for many years.
  • Ready-made templates are prepared for our members to use.
  • Organize digital courses
  • Arrange digital workshops for application and complaint writing (on various topics)
  • Using our many peers
  • Call our telephone service "Løvelinjen"«
  • Have more time to be able to exert even more political influence, which will benefit our members

Carry Together families

«"Carrying Together" is one of several projects in Løvemammaene, and which will continue after the project "Løvemammaenes hjelpetjeneste" is closed down. This means that all of our Carrying Together families will continue to receive guidance and support.

Bære Sammen is a project group across the entire organization with carefully selected members. Everyone who is part of Bære Sammen has personal experience with children who may, will or have passed away.

Eline Grelland Røkholt has been the project manager and an important part of the project since 2021. She is now stepping down as project manager. We are eternally grateful for the enormous effort she has made for our members with children with palliative conditions.

Bære Sammen's project manager is our dear Janne Fjelde Thu. Janne lost her Lucas in December 2021, and has been a part of Løvemammaene for many years. She is also an active contributor on our Snapchat channel and a deputy on the central board.

You can find an overview of who else is part of the Bære Sammen project group. here.

«The "Bære Sammen" families who have so far received help through the support service will have a smooth transition from direct help from their advisor, to further receiving support and guidance from our Bære Sammen team.

You will continue to carry this with you, which means:

  • Availability on baresammen@lovemammaene.no
  • We continue to make home and hospital visits to those who need and want it.
  • We will have courses and even more theme nights.
  • We will arrange digital workshops on application and complaint writing on various topics.
  • We will launch our telephone service "Løvelinjen"«

And last but not least; We are always just a phone call or email away.

If you have any questions, please contact: baresammen@lovemammaene.no or call our switchboard.

A huge thank you to all contributors to the project – both employees, volunteers and financial supporters.
