Fixed snapper for the Lion mothers. 

Residence: Haugesund.

Marital status: Cohabiting and engaged to Adam, and together we have three children. Elders lack the entire inner ear, i.e. also the organ of balance itself, and are deaf and use sign language. Has gotten Auditory Brainstem Implant and now hears alarms, car horns, when we call his name, laughs and cries, then he gets to choose whether he wants to use it or not in the future.  

What am I doing? I am a qualified kindergarten teacher with 60 credits in special pedagogy and work in a team called Close on, which is a team that follows up children with complex needs.

If there's something I'm passionate about, it's that all adults and children should have equal opportunities, regardless of prerequisites and functional variation. I am also very passionate about promoting sign language, because I believe it creates great inclusion for many people, not only with hearing impairments - it creates equality.  

The reason I am part of Løvemammaene is because I think it is important to be open about what life with a child with a functional variation is like and to be able to share experiences and shed light on the beautiful language of sign language that we are now learning. Imagine that we are all helping to shine a light on openness and that we are all showing off the unique life we have. Because that's exactly it: We are all unique, functional variation or not.
