MEETING WITH BÅRD HOKSRUD (FRP)

Today board member Lene Nilsen and board chairwoman Bettina Lindgren met with Bård Hoksrud, FRP's parliamentary representative in the health and care committee. The Health and Care Committee's areas of responsibility are health services, nursing and care services, public health work, drug policy and pharmaceuticals.

Løvemammaene learns that Bård Hoksrud has a special commitment to children and young people with illness and functional variation, and therefore a meeting with him was also important before the national budget is presented and debated in the Storting.

Matters we discussed in the meeting included:

  • removal of age limit for companion certificate
  • lack of legal certainty in health and care matters
  • BPA with health care
  • GP crisis
  • better conditions for care allowance
  • children's coordinator

Bård takes our input further in his work in the health and care committee at the Storting, which we greatly appreciate.

We thank you very much for the meeting and look forward to further dialogue!

Update: On 27/10/22, Bård Hoksrud put forward questions/proposals about removing the age limit for companion certificates in his home municipality. Read more about it here.
